Lebanese Team
Follow-up activity:
We organised an activity on June 28, 2024 that brought together participants for a 2-hour session. The event kicked off with an icebreaker to help everyone get to know each other's names and hobbies. We then introduced the Erasmus+ program and its objectives since there were a lot of people who didn't recognize it.
We shared our personal experiences with the DESTEM project and emphasized the importance of being involved in such activities. After this initial discussion, the group was divided into smaller teams to tackle a specific challenge - brainstorming a digital business idea that could benefit the Chouf area in Mount Lebanon, where YDO is based.
The teams came up with a variety of innovative ideas, such as an app that provides real-time bus schedules and allows users to contact transportation providers or an app that enables food delivery from local restaurants and supermarkets at any time of day. Each team named their proposed business and then took a coffee break.
After the break, the participants engaged in an energizer activity (the pillows game) to reenergize the group. The organizers then introduced the concept of the "golden circle", explaining how businesses can differentiate themselves and highlight their unique advantages. The teams were given time to apply this framework to their digital business ideas, identifying their "why", "how", and "what".
Finally, the teams presented their work to the larger group, showcasing their digital business concepts and the key elements that set them apart. The session concluded with a recap of the activities and key takeaways.
Overall, this Erasmus+ event provided a dynamic and interactive platform for participants to explore entrepreneurial ideas, learn about the program's objectives, and share their personal experiences. By engaging in hands-on activities, teamwork, and guided discussions, the participants gained valuable insights and skills that can be applied to their future endeavors, both within the Erasmus+ framework and beyond.

Participants' Impressions from the Project:
Mira Alakeili: This project has been an incredible experience that has left me feeling more excited and motivated than ever before. The information provided throughout the sessions was amazing, and the smooth flow of the activities was truly impressive. The methods used by the organisers were mindblowing. And of course, the people I met are the nicest individuals, and I have made some of the best friendships during. However, my absolute favourite part was witnessing the trainers' genuine passion for sharing their knowledge and educating the participants. Their dedication and professionalism are truly inspiring, and I feel genuinely grateful to have been a part of this project.
Fouad Bou Ghader: My experience in the Erasmus project in Poland focused on digital entrepreneurship through empathy was fantastic. I joined peers from across Europe to learn how empathy can drive innovation in technology startups. Through workshops and hands-on projects, I gained valuable insights into using empathy to succeed in the digital world. Exploring Poland's culture and making new friends made this journey even more rewarding. It has inspired me to make a positive impact in digital entrepreneurship.
Nina Al Dib: The whole project exceeded my expectations and was incredibly smooth. The activities were perfectly scheduled to achieve the project's goal. I learned many new concepts and tips that I hadn't paid attention to before. The best part of the project was the last day when we implemented everything we had learned and pitched our ideas. I had the privilege of working with a great team who shared the same interests. I must mention the best trainers: Eva, Kyriacos, Bobbie, and Nicholas, who were the highlights of the project. They made me think a lot about what I want in life through our conversations and made me appreciate Erasmus's projects even more. It was also my first time interacting with people from different cultures, and I am super grateful for each talk, laugh, and meal. From Erasmus, I learned that if there is a will to meet again, we will meet again, and as I mentioned in the farewell, it is not a goodbye, it's a see you again. Thank you, Acpelia, for this opportunity!
Nour Banna: My experience with the program was wonderful. I made lots of new friends, had great experiences, and learned about different cultures. Despite the challenging journey to the hotel, the trip itself was enlightening and enjoyable! I gained valuable insights from the activities and now have new knowledge about entrepreneurship that will benefit me back home. Interacting with people from diverse cultures made me realize that not everything we're taught as we grow up is true; life's outlook depends on perspective.
